Reflection
Experience:
I would say this semester is tougher than the last semester a lot, as I almost gave up on it due to the learning environment. I am quite sick of studying at home and conduct every learning through online, but advance typography class never failed me cause the lecturer always bring through every things very effectively and efficiently. Thus, does not make me feel so bored about the the online class. Besides, I did not get to manage my time management as I am having part time job to support my daily expenses, therefore leads to the result of feeling overwhelmed and stressed. Luckily, I get through all this and thank you Mr.Vinod and Mr.Asrizal willing to extend the date of submission date for me to complete task 2. I learnt a lot through the tutorial sesh, not only by listening the feedbacks that were specifically given to me, but also the feedbacks for others.
Observations:
Before I taken to this module, I didn't know that I actually interested in branding and feel not sure about the specialisation I will take for the following semester. I really feel that I the specialisation I chose which is graphic design is very suitable for me after completing task 2 and 3. This is because these two task get me to create something related to my specialisation/self-selected theme, which means I got lots of freedom on doing it.
Findings:
After studying 14 weeks of advance typography, my skill on adobe illustrator and also photoshop definitely got improved by doing all the tasks and exercises. I also found that I still need to explore more on the ideas before I started doing the task, this is because I discover quite a lot wonderful adobe illustrator tips and also some ideas that can inspired me on doing the tasks. Last but not least, as I mentioned earlier in the experience part about the workload is quite overwhelmed because of the situation I was, I will try to manage my time schedule well before the next semester starts.
